The Montgomery County Health Department cares for you. We know you work hard to make sure your children are safe and healthy, and that your spouse, sisters, friends, and parents are protected. We are here to help you take care of all those you love, and yourself!
Our programs and services impact every person in our community every day. Our staff work to protect you, prevent disease, and provide the information you need to make good decisions about your health and the health of those you love.
We offer screenings, testing, consultation, immunizations, smoking cessation classess, a diabetes support group, breastfeeding support, mammograms, home health care, and so much more. We provide information on preparing for emergencies, preventing infections, losing weight, getting active, choosing the right portion size, and getting enough sleep. We can give you immunizations for the flu, hepatitis A and B, tetanus, and more. We'll give you confidence that food establishments in our county are being inspected, child care facilities are safe, and onsite wastewater systems are approved.
Our services are provided at low or no cost, and are available to Montgomery County residents. Some programs are income based, but others are available to anyone. Call us at (573) 564-2495 if you have questions about program eligibility.
